Not all dent technicians are created equal, and DIY approaches to paintless dent repair are almost always a bad idea!
This is an example of an extremely poor attempt at paintless dent repair. The fender is ruined for sure. This is likely from an inexperienced dent technician. The paint now appears to be broken from the over pushing of the metal.
These tailgates are absolutely horrible "attempts" at paintless dent repair. These are either complete DIY attempts or a dent technician that has gone well beyond their skill level.
You only get 1 attempt at making your repair a paintless one. Make sure you are working with a qualified technician!
